HDS1504 will fill property box with required parameters.
In this case connection to Access database is selected. Depending of selected connection, contents of property box may contain additional fields.

Click on the field DBQ and select database filed:



If database username/paswword is set, than it is required to enter those values in fields UID and PWD, otherwise those fields may be left blank.

If the invalid username/passoword combination is entered, it may cause program to crash when working with some ODBC drivers, so take extra care to enter those values correctly, to avoid restarting program and repeating steps for ODBC configuration.

Note: It is possible to manually edit text box labelled "Connection descriptor" and to add additional data that may be required for successful connection.

After all required parameters are entered, it is required to click on "test connection" button.



After clicking on "Test Connection" button, HDS1504 will try to connect to selected database.
In case of an error, HDS1504 will display error message with some basic information about error and how to fix it.
