If HDS1504 background mode is enabled, terminal window will not be displayed.
Instead the HDS1504 icon will display in the system tray.

The HDS1504 terminal window can be opened by clicking on HDS1504 icon  in system tray and selecting "Terminal..." from the context menu that appears.
