Using CPS Plus with Rs232 Port Multiplexers or multi port serial adapters.

There are a number of companies that sell Rs232 port multiplexers and add-on multi port serial adapters. Usually device driver software that comes with the such hardware is capable of emulating RS232 COM ports. Once device driver software is installed, the serial ports look like regular COM ports.

For example if Windows "sees" Com1, Com2, Com3 ... Com55, CPS Plus also should "see" the same serial ports and use as regular Com ports.

There are also RS-485 cards that plug into the PC, and look like regular COM ports to the CPS Plus.
